2 months abroad. That’s how long I was going to be away from home.
I’m a Los Angeles native, so 25 years of my life have been in the Los Angeles area. I had barely even left the state when I turned 25 when I visited Washington and Oregon. Safe to say, I was mostly familiar with the west coast. I’d only gotten my passport exactly about 9 months prior to the trip, which was coincidentally when my girlfriend and I were in the talks of going abroad. She does love to travel.
